I joined Peak Asset Management in 2007. Prior to joining Peak, I was a business valuation analyst and manager for an independent business valuation firm, Quist Valuation, in Broomfield, CO. I also spent time as an Interest Rate Risk Officer for ABN AMRO Bank N.V. in Chicago, where I modeled, measured, and monitored the interest rate risk of a $2 billion mortgage servicing portfolio and a $37 billion hedging portfolio.
I have a bachelor’s degree in finance with a specialization in international business from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. I earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2003 after completing three years of study and examinations. Shortly after, I earned the Financial Risk Manager designation in 2004 through the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). I am a current member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Colorado.
Outside of work, I enjoy skiing, swimming, traveling, and being outdoors with my three kids. Cozying up with a good book and a cup of tea is one of my favorite things to do when I have some downtime.
I am committed to supporting education, child advocacy, and community enrichment through my involvement with nonprofit organizations. I serve on the Finance and Investment Committees for Dawson School and the Investment Committee for Mackintosh Academy, helping to ensure financial sustainability and growth for these educational institutions. Additionally, I contribute to the mission of Blue Sky Bridge Child Advocacy Center as a member of its Associate Board. Beyond these roles, I actively support nonprofit organizations focused on wildlife conservation, arts and culture, and humanitarian aid.
