Sophie Berglund

I joined Peak Asset Management in April 2022. Before Peak, I worked with an advisory group at a large RIA in Boulder. I spent the first ten years of my professional life analyzing acquisitions & divestitures and exploration geoscience in the oil and gas industry. During that time I gained valuable skills in investment analysis, valuation, and portfolio decision making. After managing a portfolio of leases and mineral rights for a private equity-backed company, I decided to shift my professional life towards helping individuals achieve their goals by investing in the broader market. I’m enthusiastic about adding value to clients’ lives across a range of client needs in the wealth advisory space.

I graduated with a Masters of Finance from the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business in 2021. I also hold a Masters degree in Geology from CU Boulder and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from Colby College. I’m excited to be a part of the exceptional team at Peak Asset Management. Outside of Peak I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids. You’ll find me in the summer gardening with my family between bike rides and in the winter reading between ski runs.
