Katherine Schumacher

Before joining Peak in 2026, I spent over a decade working across Operations and Human Resources in a variety of industries. During that time, I played a key role in scaling organizations through periods of rapid growth. I’ve supported teams of more than 120 employees and helped drive meaningful business results. My experience spans operations, compliance, and human resources.

I hold a Master of Environmental Policy & Management from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology, from the Metropolitan State University of Denver.

When I am not at work, my family and I try to spend as much time outdoors as possible. We enjoy hiking, skiing, paddleboarding, or anything else that gets us outside.  I also enjoy attending the theatre, traveling, curling up with a good book, and discovering new and interesting restaurants and coffee shops around town.

I’ve had the opportunity to volunteer and support several nonprofit organizations over the years, including Broomfield FISH, The GrowHaus, and The Alliance Center. I’m passionate about supporting initiatives focused on food security, education, and environmental sustainability.
