Javier Gomez

I joined Peak Asset Management in 2025 as a Paraplanner. Before that, I spent five years in management at Amazon leading operations teams while earning my second bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning at Arizona State University. My first degree is in Molecular & Cell Biology, but along the way I realized that what really energizes me is building relationships and helping people feel confident and secure about their financial lives, which is why I made the switch to financial planning.

Originally from San Diego, I’ve lived throughout the West Coast before settling in Colorado. Those experiences have fueled my love for the outdoors and for connecting with people from different backgrounds.

I’m currently pursuing the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation and love putting what I’m learning into practice to support our clients’ planning strategies. Being part of a team that values integrity, collaboration, and continuous growth is exactly where I want to be.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me exploring Colorado with my fiancée, hiking, mountain biking, climbing, and discovering new restaurants. I also enjoy playing pickleball and table tennis!
