I graduated from Colgate University in 2010 with a BA in International Relations. Early in my career, I worked at the Institute for Energy Research—a think-tank in Washington, D.C., researching energy legislation and regulatory policy.
While I’ve always had a passion for economics and policy issues, in 2013 I switched gears and joined a start-up called Health Warrior, at the time a budding brand in the consumer-packaged goods industry. Working for Health Warrior allowed me to move to Colorado and for six years I worked in various sales, marketing, and finance positions to help our team build an incredible business.
When Health Warrior was acquired by PepsiCo in October 2018, I continued to work for the company part-time while also pursuing a Master’s in Applied Quantitative Finance from the University of Denver. Combining my love for economics and business, I focused on investment management and equity analysis in the Master’s program at DU.
In August 2022, I earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation after completing the three years of study and examinations and all required work experience. I am currently a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Colorado.
I am passionate about applying my interest in markets and investing to benefit others, which ultimately led me to join the Peak team in January of 2020. As a Wealth Advisor and portfolio manager, I am thrilled to wear many hats at Peak. I particularly enjoy working to build relationships of trust with our clients and the opportunity to help clients simplify and secure their financial lives.
Outside of Peak, you’ll often find my wife Teresa and I strolling through the neighborhood with our son Ziggy to hit the local playground. These days, Ziggy loves construction trucks and animals – thankfully, there are lots of construction projects and dogs in our neighborhood. Depending on I-70 traffic conditions, you might also find us exploring in the mountains on the weekends. Back in Denver we are fortunate to support non-profit organizations like the Growhaus.
